Benetech is All In: Empowering change for education & accessibility
New look. New tools. New energy. Same mission.
As we celebrate 25 years of innovation and inclusion, Benetech is proud to launch a national awareness campaign that brings it all together: All In: Empowering Change for Education & Accessibility.
This campaign isn’t just about meeting Title II compliance standards under the Americans with Disabilities Act—it’s about going beyond them. It’s about ensuring that every student has equitable access to education, no matter their background, ability, or location.
What is the “All In” campaign?
All In is a nationwide movement to raise awareness of the accessible education tools and technologies Benetech has built over the past 25 years—and to share how our latest innovations can support students, educators, and institutions in removing barriers to learning.
We’re calling on district decision-makers, school leaders, higher education institutions, educators, parents, and accessibility advocates to join us in making accessibility the norm—not the exception. Whether you’re shaping policy or choosing classroom tools, your role is essential to transforming learning environments for every student.
Why it matters
Accessibility in education is not a checkbox. It’s a lifeline.
When students with disabilities are provided with accessible materials and tools that meet their needs, they’re not just able to participate—they’re able to thrive. But right now, too many students still face inaccessible content, outdated systems, or a lack of awareness around available support.
That’s why All In is focused on both awareness and action. We want every educator, decision-maker, and ally to know: Benetech has the tools, knowledge, and experience to help you create learning environments where every student can succeed.
Meet the tools behind the movement
We’re spotlighting five key solutions that make accessible education not just possible—but powerful:
- Bookshare: The world’s largest ebook library for readers with dyslexia, blindness, cerebral palsy, and more—1.3 million titles and counting.
- Bookshare+: AI-driven tools that turn inaccessible content into accessible formats instantly, plus built-in tutoring and more.
- BASE (Benetech Accessibility Services for Education) : Planning, training, and customized support to help schools and universities build sustainable accessibility strategies—because real change requires more than quick fixes.
- Global Certified Accessible (Born Accessible) : We work with publishers and content creators to ensure materials are accessible from day one—no retrofitting required.
- Saksharta Program : Supporting blind and visually impaired students in India with inclusive tools and training. Accessibility is a global right, and we’re helping make it real.
