Ted Borromeo

Ted Borromeo has over 35 years of employment and labor law experience representing employers, almost all in-house at Fortune 200 companies in distinct industries. From 2010 until his retirement in 2021 Ted headed the employment law group at McKesson Corporation, a Fortune six drug distribution and technology company. From 1995 to 2010 Ted headed the global employment law group at Sun Microsystems. While at Sun he was awarded a corporate Leadership Award for innovation, integrity, courage, pace and innovation. Earlier inhouse roles included Lockheed Missiles & Space Company and Kaiser Aluminum and Chemical Corporation.

In 2009 Ted was inducted as a Fellow in the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers, and currently serves on its board.

Ted has served on numerous professional and social service organizations during his career, most recently serving on the board of Catholic Charities of San Francisco, Marin and San Mateo counties from 2014 to 2024 (where he was acting CEO in 2022) and on the leadership of the Bay Area chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel. He is currently a volunteer peer grief counselor for Kara in Palo Alto.

Ted received his law degree from U.C. Berkeley School of Law, and his undergraduate degree magna cum laude from San Francisco State University.
