Theresa Fay-Bustillos
Theresa Fay-Bustillos is a lawyer and philanthropic, business, and nonprofit executive specializing in civil and human rights, board governance, and social and environmental sustainability. She has held executive positions with the Blue Shield of California Foundation, Levi Strauss and Co., Levi Strauss Foundation, Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund, Law Offices of Goldstein, Borgen, Dardarian and Ho, U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and U.S. Department of Labor. She also founded a global consultancy firm working for foundations, corporations, nonprofits, and multilaterals on civil and human rights and sustainability issues, including International Finance Corporation, member of the World Bank, World Business Counsel for Sustainable Development, Tides, Arabella Advisors, Castellano Family Foundation, The Christensen Fund, Future of Food Global Alliance and Sustainable Food Trust, Global Forum for Sustainable Supply Chains, and others. Theresa has served on 18 nonprofit boards, generally as the chair of the governance committee. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of California at Berkeley and her law degree from the University of California at Los Angeles.
