Timothy Elder

Timothy Elder is the Founder and Principal Attorney of the TRE Legal Practice, a boutique civil rights law firm focusing on the rights of the blind and other disabled people to benefit from accessible technology. Tim has litigated nationwide class actions, negotiated groundbreaking settlements with publicly traded companies, tried discrimination cases before juries and achieved precedential rulings from federal appellate courts.

He graduated magna cum laude from the University of California Law San Francisco and received his Bachelor of Arts in Music from San Francisco State University. Tim regularly presents on the topic of disability law and has held leadership positions in the American Bar Association and the National Association of Blind Lawyers.
