Bookshare Named Zero Project Innovative Practice [Video]
By Benetech, posted on February 27, 2020Benetech’s Bookshare initiative was named a Zero Project 2020 Innovative Practice in inclusive education. The award recognizes organizations across the globe working to improve access to education for people with disabilities. Out of nearly 500 submissions, Bookshare was selected as one of 75 Innovative Practices for 2020.
At the conference, Benetech CEO, Betsy Beaumon, accepted the award on behalf of the company and delivered a keynote address on the power of software for inclusive education. Watch the video below to see Bookshare honored at the award ceremony.
